This track was created together with Nico Rosenberg for a compilation on Opia, as part of the composer challenge.
This track is called "Despierta, llegamos", which means "Wake up, we’ve arrived" in Spanish. It started from a sketch Nico sent me. He used the Sequential Split 8, some other bits, and a vocal sample of his wife.
I took that sketch and built on it, adding some layers of my own — vocals, piano, a Wurlitzer, and some synths like the Arturia MicroFreak and the Hydrasynth Explorer. Then Nico ran the final result through the casette player. Also, the track was a bit slowed down on tape, so the tape kind of became part of the instrument on this one.
