This album was made during 2020. I first heard Nico’s music on James Heather’s show Moving Sounds, and I remember thinking it was amazing. Later, Nico asked me to add piano to some sketches he sent over. Together, we wanted to create a slowed-down sense of distance through layered sound textures. I recorded the piano several times and let it unfold in different stages of echo and reverb.
